Author Guidelines

 

Thank you for considering the Journal of Global Informatics and Technology (JUGISTI) for your research publication. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your manuscript:

Scope: The Journal of Global Informatics and Technology (JUGISTI) publishes original research articles, reviews, and case studies in the fields of applied computing and digital information. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  1. Applied computing methodologies and techniques.
  2. Digital information processing and management.
  3. Computer applications in various domains such as healthcare, finance, education, etc.
  4. Data analytics and visualization.
  5. System Information.
  6. Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
  7. Cybersecurity and privacy.
  8. Human-computer interaction.
  9. Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor networks.
  10. Digital transformation in organizations.
  11. Emerging technologies and their applications.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system.
  2. Prepare your manuscript according to the journal’s formatting guidelines.
  3. Include a cover letter with your submission, detailing the significance of your research and any potential conflicts of interest.
  4. All submissions must be original works not previously published and not currently under consideration by other journals.
  5. Authors are encouraged to provide supplementary materials such as datasets, code, or multimedia files to enhance the understanding of their work.
  6. Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication.

Formatting Guidelines:

  1. Manuscripts should be written in English and prepared in Microsoft Word.
  2. Use Arial style font, size 12, single-spaced throughout the document. See template document.
  3. Include a title page with the title of the manuscript, author(s)’ names and affiliations, corresponding author’s contact information, and any acknowledgments.
  4. Abstracts use Arial style font, size 11, single-spaced. should be concise (150-250 words) and provide a summary of the key findings and implications of the research.
  5. Follow the IEEE citation style guide for citations and references.
  6. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and accompanied by descriptive captions.

Review Process:

  1. Submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
  2. Reviewers will evaluate the originality, significance, methodology, and clarity of the manuscript.
  3. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection.
  4. Authors are expected to address reviewers’ comments and revise their manuscripts accordingly.

Publication Ethics:

  1. Authors must ensure that their research complies with ethical standards and guidelines.
  2. Plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data are strictly prohibited.
  3. Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation or presentation of their findings.

Copyright:

  1. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright to the journal.
  2. Authors may be asked to sign a copyright transfer agreement.
