Ethics of Using AI To Write
Our publication is committed to promoting the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic writing by upholding standards of transparency, accountability, and balance. We have established clear guidelines requiring authors to provide complete information on AI usage, including any software or algorithms applied and the role of AI technology in supporting analysis or research findings.
AI-generated content must adhere to principles of accuracy, transparency, and proper attribution. Authors are also expected to ensure that AI usage does not compromise ethical standards or introduce potential risks, such as technological bias. We have set a maximum threshold of 20% for AI-generated content (verified through Turnitin/iThenticate AI services) to maintain a balanced contribution between technology and human expertise in research.
These guidelines aim to support the fair, careful, and beneficial use of AI for high-quality scientific analysis while preserving human expertise and rigor in academic writing.
