Abstract

Establishing new relationships unith other people is one of the primaty issues when changing jobs. New first level manager often face critical learnig problems contering on teh anthirity relationships between supervisior dan subordinate. One research study sugested that a diffivult problem facing new first level supervisors is to learn to assign tasks in mways that waill be cleary undetstood. The new sipervisor has to learn even well intentioned subordinates may not fully understand exactly what the boss wants. New supervisors have to learn something about how to communicate their intentions and desins as clearly as pssible. They often learn the hard way when orders or instructuons ore given too casully teh perception of the subordinates are  not anticipated and somethinh goes wrong. Experince teaches supervisors to exerise care in making assigments
