Analysis of Community Lifestyle and Consumption Culture in Islamic Perspective

Abstract

Modernization is a continuous process that has lasted beyond time. He strives for various products such as lifestyle, culture, lifestyle, and many other aspects. The existence of modernism is not only to provide convenience for humans, but also to create more prominent negative impacts, such as the emergence of consumerism among society due to economic developments that move more globally. These appearance characteristics can be seen in the preference for western culture, instant lifestyle, consumerism which is finally eroded by hedonism. Consumer behavior is a process of action that is directly involved in finding, obtaining, consuming, spending and evaluating products or services, including the decision processes that precede and follow these actions. The increasingly fierce competition makes consumer behavior very vulnerable to change, so that every company is required to be able to keep up with changing consumer desires continuously. More and more manufacturers or companies are involved in fulfilling consumer needs and desires, this causes several competing companies to place an orientation to customer satisfaction as the company's main goal. The results of the discussion show: (1) Knowing the Study of Sociology of Culture according to the Opinions of the Leaders. (2) Knowing the characteristics and impact of Materialism in the Islamic View on Materialism Culture. (3) Knowing the Cultural Characteristics of Modernization, Postmodernism, Modernity and Post Modernity in an Islamic Perspective. (4) Knowing the Lifestyle and Consumer Culture with Consumer Culture Theory and Islamic perspective.
