Ratib Tegak Sebagai Media Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Agama dan Budaya di Kabupaten Kerinci Provinsi Jambi

Abstrak

Ratib Tegak is a tradition of religious rituals in the villages of Bungo Tanjung and Pulau Tengah which is carried out as an expression of gratitude and happiness to be able to carry out Ramadan fasting and celebrate Eid. RatibTegak has an important place in the community's traditions in both villages. This qualitative descriptive study describes cultural and religious values in the Ratib Tegak tradition which were carried out in Bungo Tanjung Village and Pulau Tengah. This study found that Ratib Tegak has a medium for community gathering and a binder of community social relations in both villages, especially for those who had migrated. RatibTegak is also a media to instill the values of monotheism as well as a means to increase and foster the value of community spirituality. RatibTegak is a symbol for the people of both villages, that how far they go they will always miss and return to their hometowns. Whatever life they lived they will return to The Almighty One.
