PENGARUH TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN PERKEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 2 KOTA SERANG

The purpose of this research, to know; (1) the use of technology in seeking information about Islamic religious education, (2) the influence of technology on the development of Islamic education, (3) student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects, (4) the influence of the use of information technology and the development of Islamic education on learning motivation student at MAN 2 Kota Serang. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach so as to describe the analysis in the form of numbers and statistical calculations. Data collection was obtained through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Furthermore, to obtain the influence of information technology and developments in Islamic education with students’ learning motivation variables using the product moment correlation formula. The research results show; (1) The use of technology in finding information about Islamic Religious Education is very helpful in PAI learning activities, including; first, the internet as a learning medium. Second, the use of e-learning in learning; (2) The influence of technology on the development of Islamic education, there are at least two, namely making Islamic aqeedah a scientific paradigm, and making Islamic sharia (which was born from Islamic creed) the standard for the use of science and technology in everyday life. (a) the results of the influence of information technology are known; 27 students stated always (87.1%), 4 students (12.9%) sometimes, and 0 students (0%) did not know. (b) the results of the development of Islamic education; 27 students (87.1%) stated always, 4 students (12.9%) sometimes, 0 students (0%) did not know. (3) PAI learning motivation, can be known; 24 students (64.9%) stated always, 7 students (18.9%) sometimes, 16 students (16.2%) were not motivated. (4) There is a significant influence between information technology and the development of Islamic education on students’ PAI learning motivation at MAN 2 Kota Serang.
