Abstrak

Abstract: The Covid-19 outbreak that hit in various countries has a negative impact in various areas of life, one of which is in the field of health. The role of the family will be very important in providing education and implementing the prevention of the spread of Covid-19. This article will focus on the importance of the role of disaster resilient alert families in helping the government reduce the spread of Covid-19. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods using primary data sources in the form of observations and interviews with secondary data sources in the form of previous literature studies. The informants taken in this study amounted to 11 people with 1 (one) Head of Emergency and Logistics Section of BPBD Serang City, 1 (one) chairman of RT, and 9 (nine) citizens. The results obtained from this study show that the maximum understanding and role related to Covid-19 in a family will be very influential with the health of the family itself in the process of suppressing the number of spread of Covid-19 in a family.
