About the Journal
Al Qalam (e-ISSN: 2620-598X; p-ISSN: 1410-3222) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Center for Research and Community Service of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten-INDONESIA. Al Qalam is an academic journal published twice a year (every six months). Al Qalam had been accreditated in Grade 4 (SINTA 4) by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 30/E/KPT/2019, 11 November 2019. This journal focuses on specific themes of Islamic Studies.

Al Qalam, published by the Institute of Research and Community Services of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten State Islamic University since 1983. It concentrates on Indonesian Islamic studies, as well as Southeast Asian Islamic studies in general, and aims to disseminate innovative research and contemporary topics in the discipline. Scholars from relevant fields are warmly welcome to submit manuscripts to this journal. the journal has been published twice a year in June and December.
Al Qalam has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2017. Therefore, all articles published by Al Qalam will have a unique DOI number.
This journal has been "Accredited" based on the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
