Artikel ini merupakan sebuah laporan penelitian tentang al-qur’an yang ‘hidup’ di Pondok Pesantren Modern Daar El- Istiqomah. Spesifikinya ayat al-qur’an termuat dalam AL-MA’TSURAT yang dibaca oleh santri Putra maupun Putri ini dibaca rutin setiap pagi dan petang. Penelitian ini tidak mengkaji ayat al-qur’an sebagai teks yang harus dipahami dengan makna beberapa disiplin keilmuan, akan tetapi menggunakan pendekatan Living Qur’an pendekatan ini berusaha mengkaji bentuk interaksi kelompok muslim terhadap al-qur’an pada aspek penerapan ayat al-qur’an terhadap kehidupan sehari-hari.
