Haditsah (peristiwa) penting terjadi dalam dunia Islam bahkan dalam universum ini, sebuah momentum bersejarah itu adalah Hijrah (migrasi) Rasulullah s.a.w. bersama para loyalisnya dari bumi Makkah yang tidak kondusif untuk dakwah Islamiyah menuju bumi Yatsrib (Madinah) yang dalam perspektif Rasulullah relati kondusif untuk membumikan Islam.
Logika Islam dalam konteks hijrah ini adalah apresiasi terhadap qanun sababiyah (hukum kausalitas). Ketika sebuah cita-cita di canangkan maka media-media menuju cita-cita itu dilalui. Dengan Hijrah itulah kemudian Rasulullah s.a.w. berhasil menjalankan dakwah Islamiyah. Ada sebab ada akibat. Dengan sebab Hijrah akibatnya dakwah sukses.
Komitmen untuk Hijrah sesunguhnya telah ada sejak beberapa bulun sebelumnya yaitu pada bulan Muharram. Baru pada bulan Rabi'ul Awal Rasulullah s.a.w. merealisasikan Hijrahnya. Sebab itulah kemudian para Ilmuan Islam memulai penanggalan Hijriyah dari bulan Muharram. Al-Qur’an yang mulia merilis akan keagungan reward orang-orang yang melaksanakan Hijrah ini.
