Ekonomi Islam berakar pada alquran dan hadits, hal ini merupakan interpretasi dari berbagai ajaran dan sumber Islam. Salah satu pemikiran tentang ekonomi adalah distribusi yang merupakan hasil pasca produksi dan didistrubusikan secara adil, manusiawi dankebebasan.
Distribusi dalam sistem ekonomi Islam yang menitikberatkanpada pemerataan pendistribusian tersebut agar tidak dikuasai oleh pihak yang kaya atau Negara dalam hal ini pemerintah. Satu prinsip yang harus kita pegang dalam dalam pendistribusian pendapatan yaitu: bahwasanya dalam harta orang-orang kaya terdapat harta orangorang miskin
