Humas yang pada intinya merupakan kegiatan komumikasi yang dilakukan dalam suatu lembaga kepada publik, baik intern maupun ekstern,akan menjadi “corong.” lembaganya, sehingga setiap permasalahanberkenaan dengan lembaganya, Humaslah yang harus tampil untuk menjelaskan dan menginformasikan apa sebenarnya yang terjadi.
Humas merupakan bagian dari suatu manajemen sebuah lembaga,instansi, organisasi, maupun perusahaan. Sebagai bagian dari sebuahmanajemen, maka keberadaan- Humas adalah sebagai penunjang tercapainya tujuan lembaga di mana ia berada.
