Pengenalan terhadap Karya Tafsir Syu’bah Asa

Tulisan ini membahas karya Syu’bah Asa se-orang–yang dapat digolongkan–mufasir modern. Dalam pemaparan-nya, sangat kontektual selalu aktual dan faktual. Tafsir Syu’bah tergolong tematik (maudhu’i), tetapi cara penyajian-nya tergolong unik. Karena dalam teorinya tafsir tematik terdiri dari satu tema yang menghimpun sejumlah ayat yang semakna atau relevan dengan tema tersebut kemudian baru dijelaskan mak-sudnya, atau cara lainnya adalah dengan mengambil satu surat dengan tema hal yang menonjol dalam surat tersebut. Tafsir karya Syu’bah merupakan salah satu usaha yang besar dengan terobosan-terobosan pemikiran tafsir, sekalipun ia melakukan pendobrakan terhadap makna tafsir yang dipegangi selama ini serta memberikan inter-pretasi yang semakin meluas.
