Belajar berperan dalam kehidupan. Dengan belajar yang sungguh-sungguh disertai niat ikhlas ia akan memperoleh pahala yang banyak. Belajar juga dinilai sebagai suatu perbuatan yang dapat men-datangkan kebaikan dan ampunan dari Allah Swt. Kesadaran dalam mencari ilmu pengetahuan sebagai buah dari praktek pendidikan, mensyaratkan adanya kesabaran, penga-malan, dan penghayatan akan ke dalaman makna yang secara terus menerus perlu dilatih dan dibiasakan (riyadlah). Sehingga terciptalah nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral bagi pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik. Penelitian dalam kajian ini, penulis ber-upaya membahas ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan peserta didik dalam Al-qur’an. Dalam kaitan ini, penulis fokuskan pada pembahasan surat al-Taubah ayat 122 dan surat al-Kahfi ayat 60. kemudian akan diuraikan mengenai implikasi-nya dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan. Paradigma penelitian menggunakan deskripsi content analysis (analisis isi) dengan pendekatan tafsir tarbawi.
