KERUKUNAN ANTAR UMAT BERAGAMA DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN

Agama selalu hadir untuk menghargai eksistensi dan martabat manusia: siapa pun, berada di bumi mana pun dan dengan identitas apa pun dia, seperti yang dijelaskan alam QS. Al-Hujurat: 13. Begitu pula keragaman syari’at adalah kehendak Tuhan sendiri, QS. Al-Mâidah: 48, QS. Al-Kâirûn: 1-6. Bahkan adanya keragaman menuntut kita untuk mengajak mereka dengan bijaksana dan nasihat-nasihat yang baik. Yakni, dengan cara berdialog dan berdiskusi, seperti dalam QS. An-Nahl: 125, QS. Al-Ankabut: 46, QS. Ali Imran: 64. Sejalan dengan arti penting dari kerukunan itu ada sejumlah nilai dasar yang terkandung di dalamnya. Nilai-nilai dasar tersebut antara lain adalah, saling menghargai, saling menghormati, saling membantu, saling kerjasama, mengembangkan azas persamaan, kebebasan, dan keadilan, dapat bekerja-sama dalam menciptakan keamanan dan kedamaian di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat, bangsa dan negara yang pluralistic ini.
