This article is entitled "The Contribution of Philology to the Study of Arabic Language and Literature". This study aims to reveal the usefulness of a theory called philology in the development of Arabic literature and language studies. This analysis uses a descriptive method with the scope of research on the contribution of Arabic manuscripts as objects in philological theory to the study of Arabic language and literature. The results of this study indicate that philology as a theory with the object of study of manuscripts which is predominantly Arabic helps to maintain the continuity of studies in other scientific fields. The author presents a study with a philosophical theory entitled Kitab Bahjatul 'Ulum dirosah tahliliyah filulujiyah and other related research.
