Abstract

Contemporary studies have witnessed important developments, one of the results which was the emergence of a new theory known as the argumentative theory. Perelman and Tyteca are among the researchers who have left a clear imprint in the field of argumentation, through their book “Traité de l’argumentation (La nouvelle rhétorique) “, which has made a great revolution in modern rhetoric. This study deals with the argumentation rhetoric in the drama of Audat al-Firdaus by Ali Ahmad Bakathir.
