Enhancing Javanese Speaking Skills In First Grade Students Through Series Picture Media: A Study In Indonesian Primary Education

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of series picture media in enhancing Javanese Serang speaking skills among first-grade students at SDIT Bina Insan. To achieve this, a qualitative research method was employed, involving observations and interviews with both students and teachers to gather comprehensive data on the media’s impact and effectiveness. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' speaking abilities in Javanese Serang, as well as an increased interest in Javanese language lessons. The series picture media, characterized by its vibrant and varied images, effectively engaged students and contributed to a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The study concludes that series picture media is a valuable educational resource for enhancing language acquisition and fostering enthusiasm for learning among young students. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educators integrate series picture media into their curriculum to support language development and maintain high levels of student engagement
