PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SEKOLAH

Abstract

Instructional media are essential in the teaching and learning process. Teachers
must be able to select media that align with the concepts being taught and support the
success of the learning process. In biology instruction—specifically regarding the concept
of biodiversity—teachers need to foster students' understanding and familiarity with various
types of plants, including herbaceous plants. Utilizing the plant diversity found in nature is
one of the most effective strategies for teachers to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
Success in biology education—encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor
domains—can be realized when the teacher effectively guides students during field-based
plant identification activities.
