TEORI ASBAB AL-WURUD DALAM HADIS

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine a term that discusses the ins and outs of a hadith, which is called asbab al-wurud. Understanding this study is very important, especially for those who are involved in the field of hadith studies, the aim is to know the meaning of a hadith and to avoid misunderstanding. The role of asbab al-wurud in understanding a hadith is the same as asbab an-nuzul in understanding verses of the Koran that refer to context. Although it has a very important function, it can be seen from what has been left by previous people from the time of the companions to this era, that this science is developing slowly compared to the development of the science of asbab an-nuzul. The meaning of asbab al-wurud referred to in this study is more directed to asbab al-wurud al-khas, it can be known through an analysis of the definitions put forward by the scholars. Knowing asbab al-wurud has several functions, including to clarify things that are not clear, as an explanation of the reasons for something from a law (illah), explain nasikh and mansukh cases, limit the absolute, and to specialize in the general.
