Cara Memahami dibalik Perintah Thaharah dalam Islam

Tidak ada agama di dunia ini yang mengajarkan thaharah yang begitu sempurna melainkan ajaran agama Islam. Sebab thaharah dalam Islam mencakup kesucian atau kebersihan dan kesehatan, bahkan Syekh Ali Ahmad al-Jarjawi menyatakan bahwa thaharah mengandung empat tingkatan adalah [1] Pembersihan jasmani dari kotoran dan najis, [2] Pembersihan anggotaanggota badan dari dosa-dosa yang timbul darinya seperti dosa tangan dengan mencuri atau dosa mata dengan pandangan, dosa kaki dengan berjalan kepada tempat yang haram dan lain sebagainya, [3] Pembersihan hati dari segala sifat yang tercela, [4] Pembersihan hati dari selain Allah, thaharah pada tingkat ini adalah thaharahnya para Nabi dan Rasul.
