Model Eco-Health Gotong Royong untuk Pencegahan Penyakit Berbasis Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kampung Tonjong Kelurahan Walantaka

Abstract

Low public awareness of early disease detection, the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and environmental hygiene management are major issues in Tonjong Village, Walantaka Subdistrict. This community service program aims to improve health literacy, develop healthy living behaviors, and strengthen community participation in disease prevention efforts. The method used is a community empowerment approach through observation, coordination with stakeholders, health screenings, PHBS education, healthy exercise, mutual cooperation in environmental cleaning, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show increased community participation in health checks, greater understanding of early disease detection and PHBS, growing physical activity habits, and increased concern for environmental cleanliness through mutual cooperation. This program also strengthens the role of Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) as a center for health education and encourages the formation of collective awareness towards a healthier, more independent, and more sustainable society.
