Abstract

Ibn Sina was a famous Muslim scientist in the middle Ages. As a scientist, Ibn Sina always develops science which is the subject and subject of his study. Its activities give birth to new perspectives, new theories, and new discoveries. His work in various fields became a reference for many other scientists. Many theories were born by the thought of Ibn Sina, including the criteria of truth. According to Ibn Sina's criteria for truth, there are 3 things. First, truth is related to the quality of science. This means that the truth is strongly influenced by the type of knowledge possessed. Second, the truth is obtained through the media philosophical approach. Third, truth is closely related to the methodology used in the knowledge framework. As a scientist, Ibn Sina had several scientific attitudes including (1) being selective and firm in his opinion, (2) ethical, (3) being not satisfied with research, (4) discipline and quickly producing many works, and (5) being diligent and never give up. The type of writing used in writing this article is library research.
