Abstract

Ali Mustafa Yaqub menilai semua hadits yang menyebutkan bilangan rakaat dalam salat tarawih adalah palsu atau
sekurang-kurangnya matruk, jadi tidak ada batasan dalam pelaksanaanya. Meskipun begitu Ali Mustafa Yaqub lebih
menyukai variasi 20 rakaat karena dinilai sebagai konsensus sahabat. Analisis dari pemikiran Ali Mustafa Yaqub ini menyokong pendapat-pendapat ulama’ klasik.
