DEHUMANIZATION OF MUSTADH'AFIN'S THEOLOGY IN SURAT AL-A'RAF SAYYID QUTHB'S PERSPECTIVE

This scientific article examines Shaikh Sayyid Qutb's interpretation of the mustadh'afin verses contained in Surah al-A'raf through his work entitled Fȋ Zhilâl al-Qurân, addressing the main point in this research analyzing mustadh'afin theology. The mustadh'afin in surah al-A'raf verses 75, 137, and 150 are embodied in the followers of the Prophet Salih and Prophet Musa who experienced oppressive behavior, the shackles of people's freedom of expression, and torture from tyrannical rulers. Using the book Fȋ Zhilâl al-Qurân in this research aims to reveal the theological perspective so that it is translated into a paradigm of resistance for the oppressed. This research uses the library research method with data presentation techniques, namely analytical descriptive. Therefore, this research uses primary sources from the book Fȋ Zhilâl al-Qurân and secondary sources that are relevant to the research that will be discussed in this research. Analyzing mustadh'afin theology universally and based on the interpretation of Shaykh Sayyid Qutb provides a main focus in this research, so that the discussion maintains its focus and does not expand or lead to narrow and specific discussions.
